Baby Headbands

There is no doubt that baby and toddler headbands are becoming more and more popular with mummies. They help to identify the gender of your little princess and make great photograph props. Baby headbands are also a great way to compliment outfits on special occassions and holidays. This trend origionated in the USA and the demand for baby headbands has certainly increased in the UK over the last couple of years.

Some people prefer the crochet headbands for their baby girl like the one in the picture above, these are generally about 1.5" wide and will fit newborns upto aults even as they are elasticated. Thet are very soft and usually have a lage flower or bow attsched. The other alternaive is the elastic baby headband which is made to measure the given age of your little one. They do have lots of stretch in them and will usually last 3-6 months before you need to move up to the next size. The elastic headbands are much thinner than the crochet headbands and are about 0.5" wide, they usually have a smaller applique, bow or flower attached like the one pictured below.
